Job description

What to expect in the role

  • Support Head of HR to develop and implement an effective HR strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and plans that align with the Firm’s business goals.
  • You will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on people related matters to enhance Firm performance.
  • You will drive projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
  • You will manage a team of HR Advisors, supporting and cultivating their ongoing learning and development.
  • Develop firm-wide understanding of and ensure consistent implementation of HR Policies and Procedures
  • Deliver client work as required.
  • Assist with the training of staff – from design to delivery where necessary.

What are we looking for?

  • At least two years generalist experience operating at a Manager/ BP level is essential.
  • Ability to deal with a fast-paced working environment, with a high workload.
  • Experience in a professional services environment, particularly accountancy is preferred.
  • Experience providing HR support and advice across multiple stakeholders requiring different approaches is essential.
  • Some demonstrable experience of planning and delivery of HR projects to support organisational change is essential.
  • Demonstrable up to date knowledge of employment law and contracts of employment is essential.
  • CIPD qualified to level 7 preferred but not essential.
  • Able to influence and challenge.
  • Must display credibility and a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, commercial and customer focused.
