Jonathan Main

Jonathan joined MHA as a Partner in 2018. He qualified with the Chartered Institute of Taxation as a chartered tax adviser in 1994, as an accredited mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution in 2016, and as a Customs Practitioner with The Institute of Export and International Trade in 2022.

Jonathan has nearly forty years’ experience in the World of VAT and indirect taxation, including time spent as a Partner with both Arthur Andersen and PwC.

Jonathan advises clients across every industry serviced by MHA, with a particular focus on healthcare. Jonathan has been co-opted to the board as The Association of Independent Specialist Medical Accountants (AISMA) as their retained VAT adviser.

Outside work, Jonathan’s focus is his family, as father of four and grandfather of two, fitness, and hiking both in the UK and abroad.
