Lee spent 6 years at HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) as a Manager and Trainer. His career then took him into practice in different small, medium and large accountancy firms.
He has experience working on a wide range of tax projects in different, often quite niche sectors, these include; non-resident matters focusing on Private Military Companies and contractors, religious communities/ecclesiastical tax, corporate litigation and loss valuations, HMRC enquiries, Research & Development tax and large oil and gas industry multinationals.
At MHA Lee’s main focus is on Research & Development and other tax geared incentives as well as corporation tax. He has particular expertise in the following industries: Life sciences, civil engineering, construction, food science, agriculture, aerospace and software.
Outside work Lee enjoys cycling – both mountain biking and road biking. He also holds the role of Magistrate for the Merseyside Family Courts.
