Matt is a Director specialising in Asset Finance, bringing over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector. He has held senior roles at Barclays, Allied Irish Bank, Close Brothers, and Propel Finance.
Throughout his career, Matt has worked as a Relationship Manager and Director across both direct and indirect channels, supporting clients in sectors such as construction, manufacturing, transport, and agriculture. He is highly experienced in structuring tailored asset finance solutions of up to £20 million for a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to large corporate entities.
Matt joined MHA because of its client-centric culture, which prioritises finding the right solution for each client rather than being restricted by a single lender’s credit policy. At MHA, he is able to offer whole-of-market financial solutions to meet the individual needs of his clients.
Matt lives with his wife and three children. A passionate Liverpool FC supporter and all-round sports enthusiast, he enjoys football, rugby, Formula 1, cricket, and golf. He still plays football at a more leisurely pace and enjoys a round of golf whenever he can.
A big family man, Matt spends much of his spare time supporting his daughters' swimming pursuits, as well as enjoying days out at the beach or in the city — taking advantage of his location, just an hour from both.
