With nearly a decade of dedicated service in the Audit and Assurance domain, Sayyam recently joined the MHA’s Birmingham office as an Experienced Audit Manager. His journey in this field has been rich and diverse, with pivotal experiences at renowned firms such as RSM UK, PwC UK, and KPMG in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Having previously worked at RSM UK as Audit Quality Manager, he was involved in conducting In-flight reviews to adhere to regulatory standards for Public sector, listed and PIE audits.
Prior to this, his roles encompassed leading audits across a spectrum of industries including Automotive, Manufacturing, Technology, Construction, and Financial Services. These experiences equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of audit intricacies and fortified his expertise in navigating multifaceted audit engagements. His experience ranges across various sectors but includes clients within the automotive industry. Sayyam has managed the audits of the range of clients including UK subsidiaries of international groups, and international consolidations. He is well used to managing assignments with group reporting to parent auditors to tight reporting deadlines under IFRS , UK GAAP and German GAAP. As an Asisstant Manager at PwC UK, he has led the German automotive parts group MAHLE’s UK subsidiaries for 2 years and successfully managed UK statutory audits and group reporting to Germany, UK entities mainly were involved in sale and manufacture of automotive parts, and engineering projects. He also led Aston Barclay Group, which were mainly involved in sale of cars through auction.
Sayyam will be key contact in the audit relationship as he will oversee the audit process, committed to delivering excellence, fostering collaborative relationships, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating the audit and be a primary point of contact for day-to-day communications.
