Valentinos G. Pavlides is the Partner of Tax Services and Transfer Pricing Services at Baker Tilly South East Europe, based in Cyprus. Born-and-bred member of Baker Tilly, Valentinos joined the firm in 2011 as an Associate in the Audit and Assurance department while pursuing his ACA qualification. Over the years, he progressed through management positions to his current key leadership role, guiding the firm’s Tax and Transfer Pricing practice along with having an active role in shaping the future of the organization.
Having developed his expertise within the Baker Tilly network, Valentinos brings a wealth of experience across audit, tax compliance, and international tax advisory. Since 2017, he has led the Transfer Pricing team, providing specialist support on the preparation of documentation in accordance with the OECD Guidelines and both Cypriot and Greek legislation. His work covers corporate taxation, tax compliance, high-net-worth individual planning, international tax structuring, and due diligence.
In addition to his core role, Valentinos actively contributes to the wider professional community through several key positions:
- A member of ICAEW and a holder of the CIOT’s ADIT qualification
- A member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC)
- An elected member of ICPAC’s Tax Planning and Policy Committee, advising the Tax Authorities on draft legislation and circulars
- Group AML Compliance Officer for Baker Tilly South East Europe, certified by the International Compliance Association (ICA)
- President of the Tax & Legal Committee of the Cyprus Fiduciary Association
- Honorary Treasurer of the Cyprus–Ukraine Business Association under the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Valentinos is recognised for his meticulous attention to detail, strong technical and commercial acumen, and ability to deliver practical, commercially sound tax solutions to a diverse range of clients.
Outside of work, Valentinos is a proud father to a young son. He enjoys football, padel, snowboarding and he is a passionate aeromodeller, building and flying RC aircraft. He also has a keen interest in cars and motorbikes—particularly Porsche—and enjoys shopping and music in his downtime.
