MHA continues to strengthen its agricultural teamAugust 21st 2023
MHA, the UK’s 13th largest accountancy group and the UK member of Baker Tilly International, is delighted to welcome Christine Courtman as a Manager to its growing Agriculture Team.
Having worked in the agriculture sector for over 10 years, Christine brings solid knowledge and experience to the team, particularly around accounts preparation and analysis plus internal system reviews and recommendations. In her previous firm, Christine’s clients have included farmers in Partnerships, Limited Companies, Sole Traders and LLPs, as well as those wanting to diversify.
Christine joins the firm from Land Family Business where she has been working as a Specialist Agricultural Accounts Manager for a number of years.
“I am very excited to have this opportunity of working at MHA. The fact that their Agricultural lead, Sarah Dodds, also runs a large farm with her husband really resonated with me, given my husband is a poultry farm manager. I feel, in the farming sector in particular, having ‘real life’ experience of it makes a significant difference when working closely with clients and understanding their challenges and opportunities. I take great satisfaction in supporting farmers with becoming more financially efficient and pride myself on building strong relationships with clients, which I know to be a huge strength of MHA.
Joe Spencer, Agricultural Partner comments:
“We are excited to be adding Christine to the Agriculture, Food and Farming team here at MHA. Christine brings with her great working knowledge, and the appointment underlines our commitment to the sector to building great relationships and providing industry specific advice to our clients now, and in the future. Christine will be joining our team in Peterborough, working closely with the existing specialists there, as well as working with our colleagues in Kent”.
