Alex has been with MHA for over eight years, where he has qualified as a CTA whilst specialising in corporate tax for large and complex multinational groups, with a client base predominantly comprising listed and private equity-backed businesses.
He plays a leading role within MHA’s tax accounting and audit team, advising on IFRS and UK GAAP tax reporting and supporting groups through quarterly and year-end reporting cycles. Alex works closely with CFOs, finance teams and audit stakeholders to review tax positions, assess reporting judgements and ensure robust governance and compliance frameworks are in place.
Alex has experience across a range of sectors including construction and real estate, financial services, technology, retail and hospitality. He regularly reviews multi-jurisdictional tax reporting and compliance processes, providing insight into technical positions and identifying areas for improvement.
He is a key member of both MHA’s and Baker Tilly International’s Pillar 2 working groups and advises clients on Pillar 2 readiness, impact assessments and implementation of ongoing compliance requirements.
In addition to compliance and reporting, Alex supports clients on advisory matters including group restructurings, refinancing arrangements and cross-border transactions, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
