Mikhail joined MHA in 2025 following 17 years at Deloitte, where he built a distinguished career focused on banks and other lending institutions. He has worked across the full spectrum of the sector – from start-ups and specialist lenders to major high street banks.
A recognised market-leading expert on provisions for credit losses, Mikhail has played a key role in a number of industry-wide working groups, contributing to the development of standards and best practices in this complex area.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and holds a degree in Physics from Moscow State University.
Outside of work Mikhail enjoys spending time with his daughter and is a passionate classical music enthusiast, regularly attending the opera.
