Nicola has over 20 years’ experience in restructuring and recovery, delivering practical solutions to businesses facing financial and operational challenges. She works closely with lenders, directors, and shareholders, supporting stakeholders through complex situations and value-critical decisions.
She brings a broad skill set across administrations, liquidations, corporate simplification, tax-driven shareholder planning, and the recovery of asset value for lenders, with particular expertise in the property sector. Nicola has led a number of high-profile engagements, including the administration of a failed utility company, advising on the shareholder exit following the sale of the Roald Dahl business to Netflix, and the development and sale of a substantial apartment building in Liverpool.
Nicola joined MHA in November 2025 to expand and strengthen the firm’s successful restructuring offering in the North West.
Outside of work, Nicola enjoys living on the edge of the Peak District, making the most of the outdoor lifestyle on her doorstep, while also taking advantage of the theatres and city life across Manchester and the wider North West.
Nicola also loves cooking, entertaining and eating out and enjoy countering this with HIT training, walking and yoga.
