Richard joined MHA in September 2025 after more than a decade at Azets, where he progressed from Manager to Associate Director and ultimately Partner and Responsible Individual. His main service area is audit, although during his time at Azets he managed a mixed portfolio of clients. Richard’s experience spans several sectors, including agriculture, manufacturing, education, construction, and retail.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Richard chose MHA because of its strong reputation and respected standing within the profession. The warm and collaborative atmosphere he experienced from the partners and team in Peterborough made him confident that MHA was the right fit for him both professionally and personally.
Outside of work, Richard enjoys cycling and spending time in the mountains. A keen adventurer, he has cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats, completed the National Three Peaks challenge while cycling between them in just five days, and trekked to Everest Base Camp. When closer to home, he loves climbing the fells of Cumbria and his favourite UK peak, Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa). Above all, he treasures time spent with his fiancée.
