Savvas brings over 15 years of experience in tax services, working with a broad portfolio of clients spanning financial services, real estate, technology, and professional services.
His primary focus lies in tax advisory, where he supports clients ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations, offering strategic insights and practical solutions tailored to their needs.
As the Regional Managing Partner at Baker Tilly South East Europe, Savvas leads the strategic direction and operational coordination across the firm’s regional network. His role includes aligning member firms with the global Baker Tilly strategy, encouraging cross-border collaboration, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality service and achievement of shared business objectives.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. He currently serves on the European Regional Advisory Council of Baker Tilly International and is a board member of ICPAC. Within ICPAC, he has contributed to the Tax Compliance Committee and the International Operations and Foreign Investments Committee.
In addition to his professional responsibilities, Savvas is Vice President of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cyprus, where he has served on the board since 2016. He is also the President of the Cyprus–Spain Business Association, operating under the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Outside of work, Savvas enjoys spending quality time with his family, including his two young children. He has a strong interest in sports and enjoys staying active through working out, playing padel, and cycling. He is also passionate about travel and discovering new cultures, and has a keen interest in reading about 19th and 20th century history.
