Steve is an audit partner with over thirty years of experience in supporting clients and providing assurance and financial reporting services.
He is highly experienced in leading audit and business advisory services to clients (large and small) across a wide range of industries including Tech, Distribution and Business services, and has a particular specialism in the Manufacturing and Engineering, Consumer and Industrial products sectors.
Steve works with clients through growth and change, focussed on gaining a deep understanding of a client’s business and delivering high quality audits with first class service. He supports clients in financial reporting, process and controls improvement, and by applying his expertise in reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS.
Prior to joining MHA, Steve spent over 10 years as an audit partner at BDO and Evelyn Partners/S&W, and 20 years with PwC. He has extensive experience of working alongside Privately owned, PE backed, AIM listed, US and International groups. This includes both coordinating global audits as well as audit reporting on the UK subsidiaries of large international groups.
Outside of work Steve’s passions include following Aston Villa, playing football himself (restricted to a 7-a-side team, and a vets team these days!), travel, and getting immersed in DIY projects.
