On Monday 30th June, four colleagues from our Pride Network proudly represented the firm at the inaugural ICAEW Pride Gala Dinner - a landmark event celebrating LGBTQ+ voices within the accountancy profession.
The evening brought together professionals from across the sector for an inspiring programme of panel discussions featuring LGBTQ+ leaders and allies. Highlights included a keynote speech from Christopher Joell-Deshields, Chief Executive of Pride in London. Speakers shared personal stories and professional insights, highlighting the importance of inclusion, representation, and building supportive workplace cultures. Their messages reinforced the value of authenticity and belonging as essential drivers of both individual and organisational success.
"The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with allies and LGBTQ+ professionals, to both reflect on the progress made in the industry but also to emphasise and champion the change we'd still like to see."
