Michael joined the firm in 2023 as a partner within our tax team. He is based predominantly within our Liverpool office, but will support clients across the North West.
Prior to joining the firm Michael spent nearly a decade at Grant Thornton and prior to this he worked for the tax team at EY.
Michael supports clients with a broad range of tax advice, having a particular specialism in business restructuring, exit readiness, succession planning and wealth protection. Michael also has expertise in international business structures.
In addition to being a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, of which Michael is a former chair of the institute’s Merseyside branch, he is also a member of the Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
Outside of work Michael can often be found angling, rambling and on the golf course.
