Michael leads our Corporate Tax Team in the Northwest region with over 14 years’ experience gained from the ‘big 4’ and ‘top 5’ accountancy firms.
Michael advises on a varied client base made up of entrepreneurial owner-managed, private equity-backed and listed groups on a broad range of corporate, shareholder and cross-border tax matters.
Working closely with our Baker Tilly International trusted colleagues in over 140 countries globally, he advises on tax efficient and compliant business structures (both domestic and cross border), succession planning and tax risk management & governance (both nationally and internationally).
In addition to being a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (of which Michael is a former chair of the institute’s Merseyside branch) he is also a member of the Chartered Accountants of Scotland.
