It was celebrations all around for MHA’s Corporate Finance Team at the Business Desk’s 2025 North West Rainmaker Awards.
The team headed up by Andrew Feeke, 2023’s North West Rainmaker of the Year and partner within the firms Manchester office collected the award for Small Deal of the Year (up to £10m) at the celebrations which took place at the Hilton in Manchester on Thursday 19th June 2025.
The award follows the successful completion of a deal between YFM Equity Partners (YFM) following their investment of The Networking People (TNP) in April of this year.
MHA’s corporate finance advisory team on the deal was led by Andy and corporate finance manager Robbie Taberner, with support from corporate finance assistant manager Oliver Toseland and the transaction tax team on the deal being led by tax partner Rachel Marsdin.
"I would like to offer heart felt congratulations to my team who really went all in to advise the shareholders on this investment, providing lead advisory services from the initial shaping of a potential deal, the identification of YFM as the private equity partner of choice, right through the whole deal process to completion (and beyond).
“The level of care, attention to detail was second to none and the recognition by the Rainmakers Team was very well deserved."
"It was a pleasure to advise TNP on the next phase of their growth journey and I look forward to seeing what the future holds in store for them following the investment received by YFM.
I’m delighted that myself and the team were recognised in this way at such a prestigious awards ceremony."
In addition to MHA, YFM were advised by Knight Corporate Finance (corporate finance and customer referencing); Hill Dickinson (legal); Cowgills (financial); Megabuyte (commercial); Claritas (tax); Cyber DueDil (cyber); Michael Jervis (technical); Confidas (organisational); Lockton (insurance). Forbes provided legal advice to the seller.
