A UK-based developer of document automation and management software has been acquired by a Netherlands-based specialist in intelligent document processing (IDP) software in a transaction that will support significant international expansion for both businesses.
Document Logistix, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Milton Keynes, has been acquired by Whitevision, based in Breda, Netherlands. It marks the fourth step in Whitevision’s buy-and-build strategy and its first international acquisition since partnering with private equity firm Main Capital Partners.
Serving as lead adviser, and drawing on our deep industry expertise, our corporate finance team designed and executed a rigorous international process to identify and engage potential acquirers, leading negotiations that secured a strategic partnership with Whitevision which positions Document Logistix for continued growth and delivered optimal value for its shareholders.
Document Logistix specialises in automating key document workflows, including accounts payable and HR processes, and has a dominant position in the logistics, education, real estate, and professional services industries; its UK and US customers include DHL, University of Oxford, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Founded in 2005, Whitevision helps customers attain significant efficiencies through workflow automation related to the invoicing process, and is prominent in sectors including construction, professional services, technology, logistics, and automotive.
It serves over 2,000 customers for which it processes over 20 million documents annually. The acquisition marks Whitevision’s expansion into the UK and US markets with its comprehensive document automation offering.
Integrating Whitevision’s end-to-end IDP offering with Document Logistix’s best-in-class document management and automation suite is expected to unlock significant cross-selling opportunities, further accelerating growth for both organisations.
Dan Wajzner, Managing Director of Document Logistix, added: “Joining forces with Whitevision creates exciting opportunities for our customers and our team. Together, we can deliver a broader, more innovative product suite while leveraging our combined expertise to drive growth across multiple geographies.”
Dan added: “MHA played a pivotal role in guiding us through this process. Their expertise, sector knowledge, commitment, and hands-on support gave us complete confidence at each stage.
“We are excited about the opportunities the partnership with Whitevision brings and grateful to the MHA team for their contribution and clear guidance throughout.”
"Document Logistix’s reputation as a leading document automation and management software vendor in the UK and US made it an ideal acquisition target for Whitevision. Frank de Wit, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Whitevision, said: “The acquisition of Document Logistix is a pivotal moment for Whitevision.
